| Annuity Issue - March 2010 | |
According to the Retirement Confidence Survey of 2009, only 44 percent of employed workers mention they have made an attempt to determine how much money they will need for a comfortable retirement. A similar percentage of workers say they simply guess at how much they’ll need. There are many Americans that need your help to make sure they save enough for retirement. One of the many tools we offer you, to help ensure clients have enough for retirement, is the The Retirement Analysis Kit (TRAK) Software*. This software provides a Paycheck Analysis, Quick Gap Retirement Analysis, and an Interest Calculator. During the annual review process, use the TRAK software to determine if they are saving enough for retirement. If clients need to increase premium payments, simply fill out Change of Payment Frequency (Form 5277) and return to LSW by fax or email. Our Annuity Service department will then process the request and have accounts ready for the next billing. Fax: 214-638-9162 Changes to GLIR Effective March 13 As most of you are aware, due to the current low interest rate environment, the Guaranteed Withdrawal Percentages of LSW’s Guaranteed Lifetime Income Riders (GLIR) need to be reduced so that we can continue to offer this important benefit. |
