UNDERWRITING: Process Business Faster


One of the objections most agents give when asked to write Life Insurance is, “It takes too long for the business to go through Underwriting.” Now, the National Life Group is striving to help you get more business through our New Business and Underwriting process even faster. Here’s some helpful tips on how you can get Life business issued faster:

Always include your client’s:

  • Physician name, address and phone number
  • Driver’s license information
  • Birthday and place of their birth
  • Source of funds for premium payment
  • Country in which they hold citizenship
  • Status regarding inforce coverage – if they don’t have a policy inforce, check that box
  • Weight – even if it hasn’t changed, note there has been no change

These are the most commonly missed items on applications. It might seem basic, but if this information is included upfront, we can keep your business moving.
